Da'wah og Mission

Både islam og kristendom er missionerende religioner i den betydning, at de ønsker at kommunikere deres budskab til andre mennesker og invitere dem til at blive en del af hhv den muslimske ummah og den kristne kirke.

Da'wah betyder "et råb" eller "et kald" og betegner muslimers arbejde for at udbrede kendskabet til islam.Mission betyder "sendelse" eller "udsendelse" og betegner kirkens sendelse for at vidne om evangeliet.

The first ever set of guidelines giving advice for Christians and Muslims who want to share their faith in an ethical way. The guide, which contains 10 points of advice (also called the 10 commandments of mission), has been produced by the Christian Muslim Forum, a national body set up in 2006 to improve relationships between the two faiths.
